Sage Tutoring Service offers in-home tutoring and SAT preparation to students at the New Jersey Shore in Monmouth County and Ocean County! Our focus is one on one, private tutoring in order to build students' confidence, motivation and problem solving skills.
Why is in-home tutoring a better choice than center-based tutoring?
In-home tutoring is more effective than center-based tutoring because it is more personalized toward each student as an individual. In addition, center-based tutoring often has a student-tutor ratio of 3:1, 4:1 or even 6:1. The groups usually consist of students who are working on different levels and different subjects.
Our in-home tutoring focuses mainly on one-on-one instruction between student and tutor. We also offer a group program of 2:1, where both students must be in the same class working with the same material.
Our tutors provide personalized instruction and share successful tips and strategies with students so that they can succeed on their own.
